Hello!

My name is Mrs Boardman and I have the pleasure of teaching our super bunch of children in Year 1. We are so lucky to be supported by Mrs Ruth who will be our teaching assistant this year.

I am especially passionate about teaching this age group. I love the excitement, energy and enthusiasm for learning that younger children have. There is always a lovely ‘buzz’ working in the Year 1 classroom environment. We will always work hard to ensure that children are supported in their learning, providing fun new learning experiences which will allow them to flourish.

In Year 1, the children develop their skills working closely in small groups with the adults and develop independence through carefully planned learning challenges within our continuous provision.  I can’t wait to see all that we will achieve together this year!
